Casey Swift, Superintendent

Casey Swift serves as the Highway Superintendent for Hardeman County, a role he was first elected to in 2018. His commitment to the Hardeman County Highway Department spans nearly two decades, having joined the department in 2005. A lifelong resident of Bolivar, Casey is a graduate of Bolivar High School, Class of 1998. He holds vocational certifications in mix design and quality control from the State of Tennessee. Casey is a Certified Public Administrator through the University of Tennessee.

Our County Roads

The highway department is responsible for maintaining the following:

  • 177 state aid road miles

  • 92 gravel road miles

  • 457 asphalted road miles

    • Of those asphalted road miles, 103 road miles are chip & seal
