How is the Hardeman County Highway Department funded?
Our funding comes from the state fuel tax and the local wheel tax. The Highway Department receives $40 from each vehicle registration fee.

I need a driveway culvert. Can you help me?
The Highway Department will conduct a site visit to measure the ditch and determine the appropriate size for the culvert. The property owner is responsible for purchasing the culvert from a supplier. The department will then install the culvert according to the required specifications, free of charge.
